The brand new DSP amplifier in the Sledge™ amp series from SVS makes your NSD work "digitally". SVS has done a terrific job in fine tuning limiters which will kick in when you are pushing your subwoofer to its maximum. This results is a noise-free bass even at maximum volume and PC12-NSD DSP will play distortion-free and dynamic. The only thing you will notice that it is in "protection mode" is its red LED back of the amp which will flash. A natural and flat response, improved durability and better control at the limits.
 
Couple this with the longest port ever in the compact cylinder enclosures and a new stiffer aluminum cone from the Plus 12.3 woofer and you have affordable performance in a super-small foot print. Performance few mass market subs can attain.
