”Look to Norway”, the famous words spoken by U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and remembered by, well if no one else at least us Norwegians.

That was some 68 years ago, and now, once again the time to look to Norway is here. 

Who would have thought that a company situated in Norway and run by Norwegians would be the preferred choice for handling the British market?

If you had asked us 5 years ago, we probably would have answered no ourselves. When we now got the call, we humbly accepted knowing that we over the past 5 years have developed from an upstart to become a European company with thousands of customers spread all over the  continent.

About us

L-Sound was founded in 2005 as the Scandinavian distributor for SVS products. In 2006 we expanded to also become the dealer for Germany, and in 2007 the Benelux countries came under our wing along with the rest of Europe, except Great Britain. As we also welcome Great Britain today, we sincerely hope that our Scandinavian flair will be also to your liking.

 L-Sound is now your new and unique source for SVS products in Europe.

Customer service is one of the cornerstones in our business. And it is about both the service you receive before and after a purchase.  We highly appreciate staying in touch with our customers, therefore do never hesitate to get in touch with us no matter what.

We are located in Arendal, a city at the very southern tip of Norway, where we have a large warehouse filled to the brim with SVS’ entire product line. Every employee here is an audio enthusiast too, and most of us owned an SVS or four before we even thought about making this in to a livelihood.  

The practical side

How will it all work, and what differences are there except for the funny accent should you give us a call?

Shipping: For shipping we use the world wide German company Schenker, and even though Norway isn’t a part of the EU, we offer all inclusive door to door shipping where we will handle the payment of VAT, and there is no hold up with customs. We take care of all costs like VAT, taxes and fees. There are no hidden costs when ordering from L-Sound! To find the exact cost, delivered at your doorstep, place the item(s) you want to purchase in the shopping cart, and the shipping will be automatically calculated.

After you have received your speaker or subwoofer, we are standing by to assist you with any question you may have, and emails are answered promptly. Feel free to give us a call, even if it’s just to get a giggle from our accent.

Returns: Very unlikely, but should you not be pleased with your SVS product, we have a 45 day long Buy&Try offer, where you can return the product to us for a full refund of the product price. We will even let you use our shipping deal for the return, and help you arrange it, should you need us to.

Warranty:  For most service related matters, we use FedEx. Should you be so unlucky as to experience a malfunctioning product, we will quickly help you identify the problem. Once we have, you have two options. Either we can have the entire product shipped back to us for repair, or we have another way that is far more efficient. Using FedEx Express means you will have your replacement part within 2-3 days!

We will ship you the part that needs to be replaced, thoroughly explain how to swap it (estimate about 5 minutes!), and include a pre-paid parcel slip so you can return the broken part to us, free of charge. This is the option that 99% of our customers use as it will have their subwoofer back up and running in a matter of days.
